We research ecosystem sciences using state-of-the art measurement techniques and innovative new modeling approaches.<\/p>\n<p  class=\"\">Ecosystem carbon cycling plays an important role in our understanding of how the natural world will respond to a changing climate and grants insights about climate tipping points in the world around us. Dr. Morin\u2019s lab studies ecosystem scale carbon cycling and flux behavior across a variety of systems.<\/p>\n<p  class=\"\">Although our group focuses on carbon, we are interested in a wide variety of nutrient fluxes and biogeochemical cycles including organismal nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphorus cycling.
